Richmond CEO's Message Of Thanks To The Members

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale has spoken to Triple M after this evenings historic win at the MCG.

He used the time to thank the members and supporters who have stuck with the club through thick-and-thin.

"Really thrilled for our members and fans, who have stood by this club for many years and turn up week after week," he said. 

"They've got an opportunity to go to a Grand Final. We're a 50-50 chance at worst of winning a premiership."

He also acknowledged how proud he was of the coaching staff and playing group.

"Most of all I'm really proud of Damien and the coaching group, and particularly our players lead by Trent," he said. 

"Damien (Hardwick) never stopped believing in the players, and similarly they've always really believed in Damien.

"We've been remarkably consistent, and we deserve this and we're worthy of it."

Gale once again credited the Tiger Army for their ongoing support. 

"Our guys have been incredibly loyal and incredibly supportive."

"They've believed in the journey, sometimes a few might have doubted the journey from time to time but that's human nature and that's okay.

"They've been fantastic, we work really hard as a club to put our members to the centre of the club, and take them into consideration nearly all the time.

"I'm just thrilled they can enjoy a grand final week and all the joy and all the fun that goes with it and it's really exciting."

The Tigers will face Adelaide next week to contest the 2017 AFL Premiership.
