Richmond forward Ben Lennon has been withdrawn from the Tigers’ squad of 25 for Sunday’s meeting with Hawthorn at the MCG.
Lennon was in the mix to play his first game since round three but his place in the squad has now been taken by Jacob Townsend.
There have been no omissions so far from the Richmond line-up that defeated Gold Coast last week, with Dion Prestia and the untried Jack Graham the other ins for the Tigers.
The Tigers will finalise their 22 later on Friday afternoon.
Richmond have erred on the side of caution and given star forward Jack Riewoldt another week to recover from a nasty eye injury suffered last week at training.
The Tigers head into a match against Hawthorn placed higher on the ladder than them for the first time since 2006.
