Richmond premiership stars Shaun Grigg and Bachar Houli have signed new contracts with the Tigers along with defender Oleg Markov.

Grigg and Houli have earned one-year deals that tie them to Punt Road until the end of next season at least while Markov has agreed to a new two-year deal.

“We’re really pleased that Shaun, Bachar and Oleg will continue their football journeys with Richmond, they’re fantastic players and people,” Richmond football manager Neil Balme said.

“Oleg is an exciting young talent and we’re really happy with how he’s tracking. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development next season and beyond.

“Bachar and Shaun provide such great experience and leadership for us in addition to their on-field contributions, so we’re rapt they’ve signed on for next season.”

Grigg and Houli joined Richmond from Carlton and Essendon respectively in 2011.

Grigg has played 170 of his 213 games with the Tigers while Houli has played 158 of his 184 games with Richmond.

Markov has played 15 games for the Tigers since being taken at pick No.50 in the 2015 draft but has failed to earn senior selection this season.
