Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane is set for an extra two weeks on the sidelines after re-injuring his foot.

Sloane re-injured the foot in an innocuous incident during the Crows’ main training session this week.

Resultant scans revealed a mild strain in the Lisfranc ligament in his right foot.

It is a different injury to the one that has kept him out recently.

Crows Head of Football Brett Burton said that Sloane would rest on the advice of a specialist.

“At this stage, Rory will miss the next two games before we reassess his situation,” Burton said on the club website.

“Surgery is not required but our medical advice suggests the best course of action is to rest and recover.”
