Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury has revealed his picks for the 2017 All-Australian Team.

Speaking with Jay Clark on the Jack and Journo Podcast, Pendles said that the team should be weighted to the higher placed clubs.

“I think they should be a bit bias to sides in the finals,” Pendles said.

The only club captains to make his side are Trent Cotchin and Josh Kennedy who both nab spots on the bench.

With this in mind, Pendlebury has handed captaincy duties of the All-Australian team to champion defender Alex Rance.

“He’s vice captain at Richmond. Reward 3 or 4, potentially 5 brilliant seasons in a row. That’s just how I see it,” he said.
