Immediately after the game between Collingwood and Geelong, the opposing skippers appeared to have some stern words with each other.

Joel Selwood appeared particularly unhappy with Scott Pendlebury, as the pair exchanged a somewhat confrontational handshake.

Social media and other commentators tried to put their finger on where this supposed hostility came from, but Pendles has cleared the air on Twitter.

The Magpies captain took the opportunity to share a GIF of the incident with subtitles advertising his podcast: Jock & Journo.
