Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury has brushed off comments from Mike Sheahan, saying he knows what he's got to do for his team and that the side has played some really good footy so far.

Sheahan said last month he thinks Pendlebury is still a "very good player" but he doesn't "think Scott Pendlebury is an A-grader anymore".

Pendles joined Triple M fresh off Collingwood's big win over Adelaide and was quizzed about the comments.

LISTEN TO PENDLES RESPOND:

"Nah, it didn't (bother me)," he said on The Saturday Rub.

"I think he mentioned he wasn't impressed with my JLT form. I didn't know we were rating JLT that highly! I found that amusing."
