Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury has revealed his idea for the All-Australian team to be more than just a symbolic honour.
Peddles says that the All-Australian side could play the previous years Premiers during the pre-season competition.
“I think that the All-Australian side - week 2 or 3 of the pre-season challenge - should play the premiership side from the year before,” Pendles told Jay Clark on the Jock & Journo podcast.
“I think it would be great to see the best of the best vs the best team. It’s the old team of champions vs the champions team.
“I don’t know (who would win). THat’s why it would be so good to see.”
