Riewoldt: I Nearly Killed Milney!

St Kilda living legend Nick Riewoldt needs to take another nine marks to break the all time record set by Footscray and North Melbourne champion Gary Dempsey.

With 2898 grabs to his credit, Riewoldt sits just eight behind Dempsey (2906) who retired in 1984.

Reflecting back on his almost 3000 career marks, the former Saints captain nominated his incredible grab against Sydney in 2004 as his best one.

However, Riewoldt admitted on Triple M’s Rush Hour that the death-defying mark probably “wasn’t too bright” and that he nearly killed teammate Stephen Milne and Sydney’s Jared Crouch in the process!
