St Kilda defender Jake Carlisle can accept a two-game suspension for striking Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt.

Carlisle hit Riewoldt in the head in the opening minutes of the Tigers-Saints clash on Saturday, and the premiership forward wasn’t able to take any further part in the game after failing a concussion test.

Meanwhile, West Coast youngster Willie Rioli has escaped with a $1000 fine for making careless contact with an umpire on Sunday against Hawthorn. 

Rioli has also been fined $1500 for misconduct against Hawthorn’s Blake Hardwick. 

Fines of $1500 were also dished out to Richmond star Dustin Martin, Brisbane defender Darcy Gardiner, GWS forward Dylan Buckley and Fremantle youngster Bailey Banfield for misconduct against St Kilda’s Jimmy Webster, Sydney forward Will Hayward, Essendon rookie Matt Guelfi and North Melbourne star Shaun Higgins respectively.

Essendon midfielder Devon Smith and Fremantle’s Brennan Cox can accepts $2000 sanctions for engaging in rough conduct against Giants youngster Zac Langdon and Higgins respectively.

Richmond star Shane Edwards has been offered a $3000 fine for striking St Kilda’s Hunter Clark and St Kilda onballer Jack Steven can accept a $1000 sanction for making careless conduct with an umpire. 

Brisbane enforcer Mitch Robinson has been cleared of his bonecrunching bump on Sydney’s Dan Hannebery with his actions deemed as not unreasonable in the circumstances.

Geelong’s Sam Menegola was cleared making contact with Carlton defender Sam Rowe’s back and Fremantle ruckman Aaron Sandilands was cleared of his hit on North Melbourne youngster Sam Durdin which resulted in a clash of heads.
