St Kilda have delisted American ruckman Jason Holmes after four years with the club, along with Lewis Pierce.

Holmes joined the Saints via the 2014 rookie draft after college basketball stints with Mississippi Valley State and Morehead State.

The Chicago native broke through for his senior debut in Round 21, 2015 and ended up playing five AFL games.

Pierce only played one game in five years with the Saints, but the club is committed to re-drafting the 22-year-old in the 2018 rookie draft.

Joe Baker-Thomas (delisted), Nick Coughlan (delisted), Sean Dempster (retired), Leigh Montagna (retired) and Nick Riewoldt (retired) have also parted ways with the Saints this post-season.

Meanwhile, St Kilda have welcomed former Port Adelaide defender Logan Austin to the club.
