Stephen Hill and Connor Blakely look set to return to Fremantle’s line-up this week as the Dockers aim to keep their finals hopes alive.

Hill missed Freo’s thrilling loss to St Kilda on Sunday due to a calf injury while Blakely was suspended by the club for lying to them when he said he was too sick to train last Wednesday but was caught surfing with mates later that day.

“We're aiming to have Stephen Hill available, Blakely will be available,” Fremantle coach Ross Lyon said.

“He (Blakely) needs to train today and Friday. You'd think it's more likely that he'll come back in.”

Hill and Blakely have been two of Fremantle’s best players this year, and both players sit in the top six for average disposals at the club.

The Dockers’ next meeting is with North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Sunday in what is a must-win clash for Lyon’s men.

Meanwhile, Lyon said troubled star Harley Bennell is aiming to play for Fremantle’s WAFL feeder side Peel Thunder next week.

Bennell hasn’t played a senior game since 2015 when he was still at Gold Coast.
