The first round of next year’s AFL fixture has leaked.

The season kicks off with the customary Carlton v Richmond Thursday night game at the MCG, while Friday night will see the G in action again as beaten grand finalists Collingwood take on Geelong.

Games will take place in five different states, with West Coast starting their premiership defence at the Gabba on Saturday night.

GWS take on Sydney for the Dylan Shiel Cup on Sunday afternoon, while the Western Bulldogs and Sydney will play the first game for premiership points at the newly christened Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.

FULL FIXTURE (all times in AEDT):

Thursday March 21:

Carlton v Richmond — MCG, 7:20pm

Friday March 22:

Collingwood v Geelong — MCG, 7:50pm

Saturday March 23:

Melbourne v Port Adelaide — MCG, 1:45pm

Adelaide v Hawthorn — Adelaide Oval, 4:35pm

Western Bulldogs v Sydney — Marvel Stadium, 7:25pm

Brisbane v West Coast — Gabba, 8:20pm

Sunday March 24:

St Kilda v Gold Coast — Marvel Stadium, 1:10pm

GWS v Essendon — Spotless Stadium, 3:20pm

Fremantle v North Melbourne — Optus Stadium, 6:20pm
