The AFL Has Confirmed That Jack Higgins’ Snag Of The Year Was A “Clear Goal”

The AFL’s umpiring department has confirmed that Jack Higgins’ remarkable goal against Collingwood yesterday was a “clear goal”.

AFL.com.au's Matt Thompson spoke to the umpire department last night, who confirmed that the goal was correctly allowed to stand despite suggestions Higgins had thrown the ball.
