The Boys Investigate Why BT Missed Last Week

Brian Taylor was a notable absentee from Triple M's Saturday Rub last weekend.

BT missed out on both Triple M's call of Carlton/Essendon and Channel 7's Friday night coverage of Geelong/Sydney.

Turns out he was sick, as Wayne Carey explained.

"It started last Friday night, when we got down here to the Cattery - big game, obviously, Sydney versus the Cats, it was massive," Duck said on the Saturday Rub.

'(We) walked in and there was no Brian Taylor.

"This man, Brian 'Iron Guts' Taylor, has had a crack at just about everyone in the industry that has ever, ever, ever had a sick day."

Bristle defended himself.

"You're making light of a very serious illness," he said.

"I don't know whether you've been reading the papers, but this is a super bug."

As Damian Barrett explained, BT was spotted at a function at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

"I was coming out of my coma, and felt that I needed some outside fresh air, and a five-minute swindle in the masses wouldn't hurt me," BT explained.

"Outside fresh air under the roof of Etihad Stadium!" Duck laughed.
