Home ground advantage?

As if season 2017 couldn't get any worse for last-placed Brisbane Lions, here's another damning stat for them to stew over.
The Lions have the worst active streak of any team in the AFLĀ at their own home ground the Gabba.
That's right, Brisbane have lost their last five games at the venue with reigning premiers the Western Bulldogs next worse with four losses.
In fact, the Lions have only won one of their last 13 games at the Gabba and that was only by four points against Carlton. So much for home ground advantage!
All that augurs well for Fremantle who travel to the Gabba on Saturday night to face Brisbane. The Dockers are equal third on the list having won their last four at the ground.
