The first bounce of this weekend’s AFLW Grand Final has been pushed forward half an hour.

The match between the Western Bulldogs and Brisbane has been moved to 12:35pm at Ikon Park.

Brisbane requested the move to allow Lions fans to get to Etihad Stadium across town in time to watch their men’s team.

The Lions take on St Kilda in the first round of the men’s competition at Etihad Stadium at 3:35pm.

Brisbane had to wait until the last match of the AFLW season to lock in their grand final berth, with Collingwood’s upset win over reigning premiers Adelaide handing them a chance to avenge 2017’s grand final loss.

The Dogs booked their passage with a thrilling two point win over Melbourne at Whitten Oval on Saturday night.
