Daniel Howe's AFL season could end on Tuesday night at the AFL tribunal.

The Hawthorn defender already faces a two-game striking ban and also must front the tribunal for a tripping charge.

If the tribunal find Howe guilty for the incident that left Carlton youngster Zac Fisher with a leg fracture, it may well mean a three or four-week ban.

Carlton have confirmed that Fisher's season is over because of his fracture.

There are five rounds left and the Hawks are inside the top eight on percentage.

Howe already accepted a two-game ban for striking Blues midfielder Patrick Cripps in the opening minute of Sunday's match at Etihad Stadium.

Brisbane's Tom Cutler will join Howe at the tribunal after electing to challenge his two-game ban for rough conduct against Adelaide's Lachlan Murphy.

Cutler left his feet and barrelled into Murphy in a clumsy spoiling attempt and the Crows rookie played no further part in the game after failing a concussion test.

AFL match reviewer Michael Christian ruled that West Coast skipper Shannon Hurn had no case to answer for a collision which knocked out Western Bulldogs midfielder Mitch Honeychurch.

Honeychurch was take from the Optus Stadium field on a stretcher on Sunday and spent the night in hospital but avoided serious structural damage to his neck.

Hurn braced for impact but was stationary when Honeychurch crashed into his hip while trying to gather the ball.

Christian found that Hurn could not have realistically approached the contest in any other way.

Western Bulldogs midfielder Jack Macrae was fined $2000 for striking Luke Shuey and teammate Josh Dunkley can accept a $1000 penalty for careless umpire contact.

Hawthorn's Ricky Henderson and Brisbane pair Daniel McStay and Jake Barrett can all accept $2000 sanctions with an early plea.
