It’s been a cold, wet and windy one in Melbourne today, and the footy hasn’t escaped nature’s wrath.

The conditions at the VFL game in Williamstown are brutal, and Richmond’s banner was a casualty.

The wind and rain wrecked the banner before the players could get to it, leading to them having to just stroll over the banner.

The conditions have led to a scrappy contest early, with Richmond leading 0.4 (4) to 0.0 (0) after 10 minutes.

We opened the phone lines for Carlton fans at half time of the Freo loss yesterday, and they were FURIOUS!
