Three Port Adelaide players have re-signed on the eve of the AFL's list lodgement deadline.

Jack Trengove, Trent McKenzie and Peter Ladhams have each signed one-year contracts, extending their tenure at Alberton into 2019.

Rookie-listed midfielder Cameron Hewett has been delisted, but Port Adelaide has committed to taking him in the rookie draft once again.

“Jack and Trent have done everything we have asked of them since coming across last year,” Port Adelaide's general manager of football Chris Davies said.

“Their experience at SANFL level has been invaluable for our young group and it is a credit to their application that they each forced their way into the AFL side at different times.

“We believe Peter deserves an opportunity to continue to develop.

“Cam is a talented footballer and we have seen glimpses of what he can do in the SANFL.

“The challenge for him is to get his body right and take his game up a level in 2019, and we are willing to offer him that opportunity.”
