Richmond has re-signed three players including two who played in their drought-breaking premiership win.

Small forward Jason Castagna and and late-season inclusion Jacob Townsend have both committed from the flag winning side, while the VFL side’s best and fairest winner Anthony Miles will also stay at Punt Road.

Castagna has penned a two year deal, while Townsend and Miles have both agreed to one-year extensions.

Castagna played all 25 games for the season, kicking 26 goals.

Townsend came into the side after displaying the VFL form that saw him win the competition’s highest individual honour, the JJ Liston Trophy, and kicked 16 goals in his five games.

Miles only managed five games in the senior side but performed well at VFL level, winning the reserves best and fairest.
