Essendon ruckman Tom Bellchambers has extended his contract for two more seasons.
The big man will be locked in until the end of 2020 after a fine season to date as Essendon's sole ruckman.
The 28-year-old is averaging 32.1 hit outs per game, ranked eighth in the competition.
“I am super happy to re-sign as I have huge belief that the list and club are in a great place on and off the field,” Bellchambers told the club's website.
“Being a one club player is important to me. I was excited when I got the call 11 years ago to come to Essendon and I’m even more excited to stay and build on what we have started with Woosha and Hepp.
“I have been working closely with Hayden Skipworth and the High Performance team this year to manage my body, and I think my best footy is in front of me.”
