Tom Browne: Scott Selwood Has Offered Oscar Brownless His Old Man's Number 16

Scott Selwood has offered Oscar Brownless his old man's number 16 guernsey, according to Triple M's Tom Browne. 

Oscar Brownless was drafted to Geelong with pick 74 in the 2018 AFL draft, following in the footsteps of his old man Billy.

He could follow in more ways than one, though, with Tom Browne reporting he could take over the number 16.

Selwood currently owns it, but Browne says he has offered to vacate the number.

"In a touching gesture, Oscar could wear Billy's number," Browne reported on Channel 7.

"7 News understands Scott Selwood's offered him his number 16."
