Billy Set To Be Relegated At Geelong Again!

The big fella won't like this!

Remember how annoyed Billy Brownless was at the end of 2015 when Steve Johnson overtook him on Geelong's all-time goalkicking list?

Well, Triple M's Rush Hour co-host looks set to go through it all over again next year because key forward Tom Hawkins is poised to surpass him, too.

Hawkins is currently sitting on 438 goals, just three shy of Billy (441) who is ranked fourth at the Cats behind Johnson (452), Doug Wade (834) and Gary Ablett senior (1021).

The big Tomahawk needs just four more goals to relegate Billy to fifth!

After being in the top three for the better part of two decades, Bill now looks set to drop down two spots in the space of just four seasons. Let’s hope the big fella copes with his newfound status!

We have a feeling that James Brayshaw will let him know all about it on the Rush Hour next year. The words “cop it” come to mind!

Hawkins needs just another 15 goals to enter Geelong’s all-time top three. A fair achievement indeed.
