Triple M's Warren Tredrea says St Kilda will be in the mix for out of contract Adelaide star Jake Lever.
Lever has been highly courted by Victorian clubs for a return home, with Melbourne, Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs all said to be in the mix.
Tredders has named St Kilda as another contender for the star defender.
"Does he like marching?" he teased on the Rush Hour with Jars and Louie.
"I'm hearing the Saints have got the whole lot in."
Tredders suggested the Saints will have the cap space to chase someone like Lever.
The Saints have been floated around the mix for Josh Kelly, and were named as a leading contender for Nat Fyfe before pulling out.
"Who's retiring? How much would that give you to play with?" he said on Triple M.
"They've got to get someone...Lever is a classic. He's not your marquee, absolute superstar at the moment, but he's the one you go, oh, I like this."
