North Melbourne trio Jamie Macmillan, Jarrad Waite and Marley Williams are all set for sideline stints.
The Kangaroos' injury update says that Macmillan will struggle to return in 2017 following a high-grade finger injury on Saturday night.
“Jamie will require surgery to repair the flexor tendon after it was pulled off the bone,” Peter Baquie told the club website.
“A surgeon will reattach the tendon on Thursday and unfortunately, that means Jamie is looking at around six to eight weeks on the sidelines, but we’re very optimistic about it being the former.”
Waite was another victim of injury against the Suns, sustaining a calf ailment that will see him miss another 3-4 weeks.
Williams is set to miss 1-2 weeks with a back strain.
