46 disposals in the NEAFL last weekend wasn't enough for Michael Barlow to crack the senior team.

And two former Fremantle teammates of his weren't too stoked.

Former Dockers Nick Suban and Rhys Palmer had a dig after Barlow's omission when final teams were released yesterday, with Barlow stuck in the reserves once again.

Suban tweeted on Friday that the Suns needed to have a "hard look" at their selection process, calling it a "joke".

"Is there some sort of restriction on playing your best players? Mick Barlow available. YES?" he wrote.
