The Essendon Football Club have reportedly shown late interest in homesick Brisbane forward Josh Schache.
Schache has not attracted much interest in this trade period after stating his intentions to return back to Victoria.
With only hours to run in the trade period it looks unlikely a deal will be finalised, especially as their priorities lie with landing Jake Stringer.
The Bombers have until 2pm to negotiate with a deal with the Lions.
