Wayne Carey Gives Damian Barrett A 'Blowtorch'

Last night on Channel 7's Talking Footy, Wayne Carey set his sights on Damian Barrett for his 'Blowtorch' segment.

After Damien Hardwick told the media at his post-game press conference that he was “proud” of his Richmond boys despite their string of tight losses, Purple spoke on Triple M:

“I would not be using the word ‘proud’ in any context after their past fortnight of football,” Barrett said.

Here's how the Duck hit back on TV last night:

“Now Damian, you’re a fantastic news breaker in the AFL and you do a lot of good things in the media," Carey started.

"But I’ll tell you what you don’t know."

"You don’t whether Damien Hardwick is ‘proud’ of his team - and I can assure you that if he says he is proud of his team; he is."

"So maybe on this one, leave it to the experts," Carey finished with a grin.
