Wayne Carey has pointed at Richmond's goalkicking as the reason they lost another close game.

The Tigers lost at the death once again on Saturday, going down to GWS by three points.

A few suggestions were floated - structure, mistakes and so on - but it all comes down to one thing.

"But guess what? To me, it comes down to one thing," he said on the Sunday Rub.

"They missed three goals, set shots, that were easy shots at goal."

The Tigers, after kicking 6.3 (39)

"Get a bloody goalkicking coach, nail those goals, and all that other crap we're not even talking about when Richmond win the game.

"It's as simple as that. If you get shots in front of goal, 30 metres out, 40 metres out, directly in front...it's your job to go back and kick those goals."
