West Coast star forward Josh Kennedy has been ruled out of the Eagles’ Thursday night clash with Essendon due to injury.
Coach Adam Simpson revealed on Wednesday that the dual Coleman Medallist has a hairline fracture in his lower leg.
Kennedy is expected to miss one to three weeks.
His absence further compounds West Coast’s personnel issues in attack with Jack Darling (knee) also not expected back in the team for at least another two weeks.
