Katie Brennan’s AFLW grand final hopes are in serious doubt after the Western Bulldogs captain was offered a one-game suspension on Monday.

Brennan copped her second reprimand of the season for engaging in rough conduct against Melbourne’s Harriet Cordner on the weekend, and that equates to a one-game ban.

Brennan is one of the Bulldogs' best players and her potential absence would seriously dent their premiership hopes.

The Doggies face the Brisbane Lions at Princes Park on Saturday in the grand final.

Meanwhile, reprimands were handed out to Melbourne duo Shelley Scott and Katherine Smith for engaging in rough conduct against the Bulldogs’ Bonnie Toogood and Kirsty Lamb respectively.

Reprimands were also offered to Carlton’s Katie-Jayne Grieve and Fremantle’s Cassie Davidson for engaging in rough conduct against Freo’s Dana Hooker and striking the Blues’ Tayla Harris respectively.

Davidson’s teammate Ashlee Atkins can accept a one-game suspension for engaging in rough conduct against Carlton’s Shae Audley.
