The Western Bulldogs have confirmed Travis Cloke will miss four to six weeks with broken ribs.

Cloke sustained the injury after a heavy bump from North Melbourne captain Jack Ziebell in last night's Good Friday game.

He was in serious pain following the bump and had to be taken to hospital.

Scans today have confirmed Cloke has broken ribs.

The Dogs also confirmed Tom Boyd will be assessed during the week after a hit in the eye caused delayed concussion.

A call is yet to be made on whether he will play next week.
