Western Bulldogs skipper Easton Wood could miss the rest of the season after scans confirmed a high-grade hamstring strain, while Jack Macrae has had his Brownlow hopes dashed.

Wood will miss two to three months of action after hurting his hamstring on Thursday night.

Macrae's hamstring is less severe, but the Dogs expect him to miss three to four weeks.

Lukas Webb will also miss three to four weeks with a fractured thumb.

Tom Boyd (dislocated thumb) is a chance to feature next week against North Melbourne, as are Marcus Bontempelli (knee) and Toby McLean (shoulder), who are tests after injuring themselves during the Port Adelaide clash.

After their first goalless half in nine years, Carlton fans rang through to the Triple M boys at half time to vent. Fair to say they weren't happy!
