Willie Rioli has signed a contract extension to stay with West Coast.

After making his debut in round two, Rioli has put pen to paper on a two-year extension, tying him to the Eagles until the end of 2020.

It follows the 22-year-old's best game for the club, kicking two goals from 10 disposals in the win over Gold Coast.

“I want to be a one-club player,” Rioli told West Coast's website.

“West Coast has been a great support for me and my family since I moved over here. I am grateful to the club for giving me the opportunity.

“Last year I didn’t play much footy, so for them to give me another two years, I didn’t want to say no.

“West Coast has been a great family club for me and no doubt I want to repay the favour.

“I still pinch myself everyday getting on the bus with Nic Nat, Mark LeCras and Josh Kennedy. It’s still something I definitely don’t take for granted.”

Should the premiership cup be named after someone? Triple M's Wayne Carey has suggested naming it after one of the AFL's biggest legends.
