So, it's a week off for the AFL, but it's definitely not a week off in the betting markets.

Crownbet's opened up some markets ahead of the finals series, forecasting the whole month's action, and there's plenty of interesting bits and pieces to look forward to.

Most disposals

The winner of this one will most likely have to play three or four games and play a grand final, so it's no surprise the favourites come from the best clubs. Matt Crouch (4.50) is the shortest, and that's no shock: he's had 27 disposals or more in every single game this season, including a career-best 45 against West Coast to lead into finals.

Sydney's a hot chance for the flag and they'll need to play four games to do it, so it could bring last year's winner Josh Kennedy (9.00) into the mix, as well as others like Luke Parker (21.00) or Jake Lloyd (34.00).

Odds:

Matt Crouch 4.50, Josh Kelly 5.50, Patrick Dangerfield 6.00, Josh Kennedy 9.00, Callan Ward 11.00, Dylan Shiel 11.00, Dustin Martin 11.00, Rory Laird 13.00, Stephen Coniglio 13.00, Mitch Duncan 15.00, Joel Selwood 17.00, all others 20+

Most goals

After defeating Carlton by himself with a 10-goal rout and winning the Coleman, it's hard to not have Lance Franklin (3.00) favourite.

Taylor Walker (11.00) and Joe Daniher (26.00) have both kicked 24 goals against top eight sides this season, the most in the league, though Daniher might be hindered with the Dons a slim chance of making it.

Odds:

Lance Franklin 3.00, Jonathon Patton 9.00, Jeremy Cameron 10.00, Taylor Walker 11.00, Jack Riewoldt 11.00, Eddie Betts 12.00, Toby Greene 12.00, Tom Hawkins 12.00, Josh Jenkins 13.00, Josh J Kennedy 15.00, all others 20+

Most tackles

This one's unique - Clay Smith took it out last season with 38 tackles in four finals - which means there's potentially value to be had. Scott Selwood (1.90) is understandably a good shout but it could push up the odds for a few others.

Brad Ebert (15.00) or Sam Powell-Pepper (101.00) could come into the mix if Port Adelaide go far, and likewise Luke Parker (26.00) or Kieren Jack (101.00) for Sydney.

Odds:

Scott Selwood 1.90, Rory Sloane 3.50, Josh Kelly 7.50, Hugh Greenwood 7.50, Stephen Coniglio, 11.00, Brad Crouch 15.00, Shane Mumford 15.00, all others 20+

Gary Ayres Medal

Josh Kennedy (9.00) became the inaugural Gary Ayres Medallist, polling the most coaches votes in the finals last year, and he's a good shout to do it again if Sydney can make the grand final. Kennedy polled in three out of four games to win it last year, and it'll probably take something similar to do it again.

Outside the usual big names, players like Taylor Walker (41.00), Jon Patton (51.00), Stephen Coniglio (34.00) or Isaac Heeney (51.00) could come into the frame. All are eye-catching players and play the sort of games the coaches would love.

Odds:

Patrick Dangerfield 5.50, Dustin Martin 6.50, Josh Kelly 7.00, Josh Kennedy 9.00, Rory Sloane 12.00, Joel Selwood 15.00, Lance Franklin 15.00, Matt Crouch 17.00, all others 20+
