St Kilda midfielder Jack Steven is the Triple M Footy Cbus Player of the Week for Round 16.
Steven guided the Saints to their stunning 67-point win over Richmond at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night with a best-on-ground performance.
The triple best-and-fairest winner registered 33 disposals, 14 contested possessions, eight marks, seven clearances, five inside 50s and a magnificent goal as St Kilda produced one of the most stunning performances of season 2017.
The Saints headed into their encounter as underdogs, but that didn’t stop them from kicking 15 of the first 16 goals and opening up a whopping 87-point lead at the two-minute mark of the third quarter.
Steven was instrumental to his team’s astonishing start to the game and for his efforts he becomes the second Saint behind Jack Billings (round eight) to win the Triple M Footy Cbus Player of the Week.
