West Coast v Geelong
Both teams have some thinking to do up forward this week. Geelong is missing Tom Hawkins through a suspension, while Josh Kennedy hasn't recovered from a calf injury for West Coast.
A win here is important for the Cats, and it solidifies their top four standing. But the Eagles need this one, too. After last week's loss to Gold Coast, another dropped game here means their top eight spot starts to look a little shaky.

West Coast 2.20
Geelong 1.70
North Melbourne v St Kilda
After three convincing losses on the trot, St Kilda desperately need a win, and against an impressive North Melbourne it doesn't get any easier.
The Roos have been handy this year, winning four of their last six and coming pretty close in a few others. They're better than their 15th-placed record suggests, and a win here will see them jump the Saints on the ladder.

North Melbourne 1.92
St Kilda 1.92
Richmond v Sydney
Since starting 0-6, Sydney's won four of their last five, culminating in a big win over the Bulldogs last round. However, this is their toughest challenge in that run: Richmond at the 'G.
The Tigers have edged ahead of the logjam in the middle of the ladder and a win here boosts their top eight - and even top four - credentials. But against a Sydney side making a late surge for a top eight spot themselves, this will be tough.

Richmond 2.00
Sydney 1.82
Port Adelaide v Brisbane
Port Adelaide was asleep at the wheel last week, being demolished by Essendon on Saturday night. It's something Ken Hinkley wasn't impressed with and will expect them to bounce back.
Despite Brisbane's big win last weekend, Port Adelaide's record against lower sides is fearsome: against sides 10th and below they're 6-0 with a whopping percentage of 222%.

Crownbet odds:
Port Adelaide 1.02
Brisbane 15.00
Gold Coast v Carlton
Carlton stunned GWS by a point last Sunday at Etihad in a comprehensive defensive performance. Despite the Giants leading inside 50s and time in forward half considerably, they never looked too likely going inside 50.
Can they keep it up? The Suns are free scoring too, and this one's well away from the comforts of Etihad Stadium. We'll give them every chance.
Gold Coast by 14
Crownbet odds:
Gold Coast 1.35
Carlton 3.25
Western Bulldogs v Melbourne
Sunday's standalone clash looms as a very interesting one. Both teams excel at ground level which should make this a tight tussle.
This one's important for the Dees: a win here takes them to 7-5 and closer to an elusive September berth. But a loss from the Dogs takes them, in their premiership defence, to 6-6, a record they can't afford in a close season

Crownbet odds:
Western Bulldogs 1.52
Melbourne 2.55
