Ash Chua's Stat Cave - Round Five

Stat Cave Round Five

Article heading image for Ash Chua's Stat Cave - Round Five

This week, we found the below note slid under the door of the Stat Cave with Bosch.

It was in frantic scribbled handwriting.

We think Ash might be running a bit short of air.

We'll find out tomorrow when we open the door and let him out to help us out for Port Adelaide vs Carlton from the Adelaide Oval.

Join us from 6pm for that and the whole huge weekend of footy (check your on air schedules here)

Anyway, check below for the note:

Hi – this is Ash Chua from the Triple M Stat Cave with Bosch.

Carlton have a very good record against Port Adelaide having won 9 out of the past 12, and Port Adelaide’s recent form @ the Adelaide Oval has been poor having lost 6 out of their last 7.

The player to watch is Marc Murphy, the number 1 ranked player in the competition averaging career high disposals @ 32 per game.

The Bosch Tools Stats tell us Geelong are the most efficient team when going inside 50 tracking @ 36% goal scoring efficiency (10% above the league average) while St Kilda are one of the most inefficient having kicked 10.20 from set shots form their past 2 matches.

Richmond have posted their best start to a season since 1995, and boast the best goalkicking spread in the competition with 11 goalkickers per game.

Finally for Bosch Tool stats, will Scott Pendlebury chalk up his 3rd Anzac Day Medal? Racking up 31 disposals per game from 10 Anzac Day clashes against the Bombers.

Join us this Friday night from 6 as Triple Rocks Footy.
