Fremantle Have Put Up Their Trade Demands For Lachie Weller

Fremantle has demanded Gold Coast’s pick two in the national draft in any trade for wantaway midfielder Lachie Weller.

The demand is reported to have shocked Suns officials after the 21-year-old requested a trade to the Gold Coast reunited with his family.

Weller's manager Peter Blucher saying that he already has an in-principle agreement in place with the Suns.

It was revealed today that Weller — who is signed with Freo until the end of 2018 — knocked back a four-year extension with the Dockers.

Weller played all 22 games for Freo this season, averaging 20 touches a game.

Overall he has played 47 matches in purple and kicked 17 goals.
