Jack Watts has reportedly nominated Port Adelaide as his preferred destination.

Multiple reports have suggested Watts has made the decision to head to Port Adelaide, and is now set to be traded to the Power over the next 48 hours.

The 26-year-old's future has been up in the air ever since Simon Goodwin declared he would explore his options, with Geelong and Sydney also in the mix.

Watts had reportedly toured both Port Adelaide and Geelong over the past week.

Port Adelaide hold picks 31 and 34 in this year's draft, either of which may feature in a potential trade.

Melbourne has previously expressed their desire to land an early second-round pick as compensation for the forward.

Watts has played 153 games for the Demons, kicking 143 goals, since being drafted with pick one in the 2008 AFL draft.

After a strong 2016, in which he kicked 38 goals, Watts was less successful this season, kicking 22 goals in 16 games.

His back half of the year was interrupted by a hamstring injury, which saw him finish 21st in the Demons' best and fairest.
