Jarman Impey has landed at Hawthorn.

The 22-year-old became a Hawk on Thursday afternoon as paperwork was lodged.

He will move to Hawthorn alongside pick 67 for pick 33, pick 61 and Hawthorn's future fourth-round selection.

He has signed a three-year deal, putting him in brown and gold until the end of 2020.

Hawthorn recruiting and list manager Graham Wright spoke of his excitement.

“We are really pleased a deal could be reached with Port Adelaide and look forward to welcoming Jarman to the Hawks," he told hawthornfc.com.au.

“His outstanding speed and endurance will be a really valuable asset and his ability to play at both ends of the ground is a great advantage.

“Jarman is a competitive character, who goes hard at the footy, which makes him an exciting acquisition and a terrific addition to our list.

“At only 22 years of age, Jarman has plenty of football ahead of him and we can’t wait to see what he can produce in the brown and gold.”

Impey becomes the second player to leave the Power this off-season, after former teammate Jackson Trengove also made his way to Victoria, joining the Western Bulldogs as a free agent.

He has played 75 games for the Power after joining them with pick 21 in the 2013 AFL draft.

Impey can play at both ends of the ground, starting out as a defender before playing largely as a forward in 2017, kicking 15 goals.
