Port Adelaide defender Jack Hombsch has moved to Gold Coast.

Hombsch joined his third AFL club on the final day of trade period, with the Suns securing the key defender.

The Power received a 2019 fourth-round pick in return.

It ensures Gold Coast have their replacement for Steven May, who was traded to Melbourne moments beforehand.

Hombsch played nine games for GWS and 89 games for Port Adelaide.
