Gold Coast captain Steven May would "be happy" to go to a club in Melbourne, according to Mitch Cleary at AFL.com.au.

May’s future has been the subject of much speculation all year, with rumours swirling that he would leave the Suns despite a year left on his contract before he becomes a free agent.

Melbourne and Collingwood have both been heavily linked to the big defender.

"He’d be happy to come to Melbourne (the city, not necessarily the club) if something was found," Gold Coast list manager Craig Cameron said.

"It’s up to the clubs now that are pursuing him to come up with something. At this this stage they haven’t."

Tom Browne explained how Hawthorn are likely to get Tom Scully with a late pick.
