Two-time Hawthorn premiership player Taylor Duryea has been traded to the Western Bulldogs.

Duryea, who won premierships with Hawthorn in 2014 and 2015, will head to Whitten Oval.

The Dogs have given up their 2019 fourth-round pick to get him.

Duryea found himself in and out of the side in 2017 and 2018, playing 32 games across the two seasons.

He had been a mainstay in Hawthorn's defence prior to that.

The Hawks had reportedly offered the 27-year-old a one-year deal for 2019.
