Triple M's Hot Breakfast footy reporter Tom Browne says Western Bulldogs ruckman Jordan Roughead is set to be picked up by a fellow Victorian club.
BROWNE BREAKS THE NEWS:
Roughead is out of contract and has been left in limbo, with the restricted free agent not offered a deal by any rival as of yet.
West Coast had courted the premiership player, flying him to Perth for a medical, but instead traded for Tom Hickey to bolster their ruck stocks in the absence of Nic Naitanui and departure of Scott Lycett.
It leaves Roughead's future with a question mark.
But Browne believes one Victorian club is set to answer that question and offer him a new home.
"I understand Collingwood will offer Bulldog Jordan Roughead a lifeline," he said.
"That deal to be announced in coming days."
With the free agency period over, Roughead will need a trade to find a new home.
