St Kilda ruckman Tom Hickey is making the move across the Nullarbor to play with West Coast.

The Saints gave up pick 60 and a 2019 4th round pick as well as Hickey, receiving pick 39 and next year’s 4th rounder from the Eagles.

Hickey played 67 games for the Saints after crossing from Gold Coast in the 2012 trade period.

He managed 12 games for the Suns after being drafted as a Queensland zone selection in 2010.

West Coast lost ruckman Scott Lycett to Port Adelaide yesterday, while Nic Naitanui will miss the bulk of 2019 after rupturing his ACL late this year.

Tom Browne says that Hawthorn will target Chad Wingard after missing out on Dylan Shiel.
