Essendon speedster Travis Colyer could make way to help the Bombers land their trade targets, according to Triple M's Jay Clark.

Colyer has been linked with a move possibly back to Western Australia, that would net the Bombers another draft pick.

It would then help the Bombers with currently in order to land Jake Stringer, Adam Saad and Devon Smith, all of whom want to make their way to Windy Hill.

"The new name emerging at Essendon, Travis Colyer could be headed back to West Coast," Clarky told Triple M.

"The speedy forward could help the Bombers get a second or third-round pick that would then help them get their three major trade targets in Stringer, Saad and Smith.

"So Colyer (is) possibly headed out west."

The 26-year-old played 22 of a possible 23 games in 2017, averaging 17 disposals and four marks a game, and ranking second at the Bombers for running bounces.
