A 20 Year Old Just Scored The 10th Most Points In An NBA Game Ever
Massive!
20-year-old Devin Booker just put up the equal 10th most points scored in an NBA game ever, scoring 70 in a 120-130 loss to the Boston Celtics.
The Phoenix Suns shooting guard scored had 19 points to half time but went utterly berserk in the third quarter, putting up 23 points.
He then drained 28 in the last quarter in a vein attempt to get the Suns over the line.
His efforts broke a host a records as he became just the eighth person to score more than 65 points in a game.
Booker went 21/40 from the field and 4/11 from beyond the three point arc.
He scored 24 of 26 free throws from his 45 minutes.
After the game he recreated the famous Wilt Chamberlain pose when he scored 100 points in the early 60s.
What an achievement.
