Aussie baller Ben Simmons’ Philadelphia 76ers have been knocked out of the NBA finals system.

The Sixers went down 114-112 to the Boston Celtics in game five of the series at Boston Gardens today.

Simmons had 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists in his 34 minutes on court.

The loss meant they were knocked out after losing the seven game series 4-1.

Fellow Aussie Aron Baynes is through to the next stage of the playoffs with the Celtics however, having put up 13 points and nine rebounds in the win.
